Job Summary

We are seeking a Customer Service Rep-Manufacturing for a direct hire opportunity in San Fernando, CA. This role is ideal for a customer-focused professional with experience in manufacturing, supply chain, sales support, and cross-functional coordination.

The Customer Service Rep-Manufacturing will serve as a key point of contact for clients, helping ensure orders, communication, and service expectations are handled accurately and professionally. This position works closely with sales, production, shipping and receiving, and quality control teams to support customer satisfaction and smooth internal operations.

Key Responsibilities

- Build and maintain strong client relationships through professional, timely, and accurate communication.
- Support the sales department with customer inquiries, order updates, documentation, and follow-up.
- Coordinate with production, shipping and receiving, and quality control teams to help ensure customer requirements are met.
- Monitor order status, resolve service issues, and communicate updates to internal teams and customers.
- Use strong math skills to support pricing, order quantities, measurements, and related customer service tasks.
- Help maintain customer satisfaction by providing dependable service and clear written and verbal communication.

Compensation and Benefits

- Salary range: $50,000.00 to $60,000.00 per year.

Required Qualifications and Skills

- Support customer service operations within a manufacturing environment.
- Coordinate with sales, production, shipping and receiving, and quality control departments.
- Manage customer communication, order support, and issue resolution.
- Help ensure customer satisfaction through accurate follow-up and cross-functional teamwork.

- 3 to 5 years of relevant customer service, client care, manufacturing, or supply chain experience.
- Experience working in a manufacturing company or supply chain-related environment.
- Ability to build and maintain strong client relationships.
- Strong math skills for order processing, pricing, quantities, or related calculations.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong attention to detail, follow-through, and organizational skills.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with internal departments and support a team-focused workplace.

Preferred Qualifications

- Prior experience supporting a sales department in a manufacturing or distribution environment.
- Experience coordinating with production, shipping, receiving, and quality control teams.
- Familiarity with customer order processing, fulfillment follow-up, and issue resolution.
