Business Analyst

Job Title: Business Analyst Location: Indiana, (Preference is a hybrid work schedule but will consider exceptional Remote candidates) Position Type: Contract Interview Mode: Webcam Responsibilities Collaborate with stakeholders to understand their needs and gather detailed business requirements. Develop and document business process models to illustrate current and future states. Propose and design technical and process solutions that meet business needs and objectives. Communicate and validate requirements with relevant stakeholders. Construct workflow charts and diagrams, studying system capabilities, and writing specifications. Identify opportunities for process improvements and contribute to ongoing optimization efforts. Convert roadmap features into smaller user stories. Work with IT and other departments to implement solutions and ensure they align with business goals. Liaison between various business departments and group Communicate findings, and recommendations, to project manager for updates to stakeholders and executives. Participate in testing and validating new systems and processes to meet business requirements. Assist with project management as needed. Required/Desired Skills Bachelor’s degree in computer science, business or related field. Required Business Analyst experience or in a related role Required 5 Knowledge of project management methodologies and tools Required 5 Strong experience leading, facilitating and motivating teams for medium to large scale IT projects Required 5 Strong understanding and experience working with stakeholders in achieving their goals Required 5 Strong background in facilitating/ leading requirement gathering sessions Required 5 Demonstrated experience in the creation of User Stories Required 5 Strong organizational, multi-tasking and time management skills Required 5 Strong verbal, written and interpersonal skills across all levels of the organization Required Demonstrated understanding of all phases of the software development life cycle (SDLC), preferably in a Hybrid Agile environment. Required 5 Advanced troubleshooting, critical thinking, analytical problem-solving, writing, and communication skills. Required Ability to develop productive working relationships, communicate clearly, and collaborate with people across the organization Required Ability to manage projects to successful conclusion.
