BartenderMixes and serves beverages for customers according to established guest service standards.Department: Food & BeverageReports to: Shift Manager BeverageFLSA Designation: Non-ExemptLicense Type: Non-GamingTarget Pay: $14.22 - $15.80Essential Job Functions:Serves customers as part of a team by anticipating their needs, initiating conversation, and offering assistance when necessaryMaintains a constant awareness of safety and accident prevention, performing all job duties in the safest possible manner, and immediately notifying the supervisor and completing an accident report if a personal accident does occurRemains up to date on drinks and garnishesKnows all garnishes, glassware, and ingredients for drinksOperates the Micros system, ringing up all drinks, accepting payments, and issuing proper changeEnsures thorough communication between shiftsHelps maintain the organization and cleanliness of beverage outlets and stations including moving furniture to prepare the space for guestsMaintains clean and sanitary bar areaInspects guest identification to ensure guest meets legal age limit for alcohol possession/consumptionMonitors guest alcohol consumption and acts according to established alcohol awareness program guidelinesPerforms all other duties as assignedQualifications:Must be 21 years of age or olderHigh school diploma or equivalentTwo or more years of full-service bartending or related experience preferredMust be available to work flexible shifts, weekends, and holidaysKnowledge of beverage order processing systemsAbility to obtain and maintain all necessary licensingExtensive knowledge of drink recipes and product knowledgeExperience assessing and deescalating guest issues and intoxicated guestWorking Conditions:Regularly required to see, talk, or hear; stand; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and armsFrequently required to walk; stoop, kneel or crouchMust occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 poundsAble to interact with others while maintaining a positive and courteous demeanorAbility to work in a noisy environmentEqual Opportunity Employer This employer is required to notify all applicants of their rights pursuant to federal employment laws.
