Truck Driver CDL A Solo

Position Description Class A CDL Truck Driver – Georgetown, TX. Drive a Class A truck and deliver freight across Texas. Pay & Benefits Weekly pay $1400 or more Solo Miles Pay: $0.54 per mile with 1800-2000 miles per week Solo Stops Pay: $24.00 per stop with approx. 15 stops per week Paid training Schedule: Monday – Friday, 6:00‑6:30 AM start Medical, Dental & Vision after 30 days 80 hours PTO first year, starting Day 1 (use it or get paid for it) Uniforms, cell phone & boot allowance provided 401(k) rollover now + company match at 1 year 12 weeks paid maternity leave (eligible based on tenure) Employee discounts on tools, vehicles, travel, tech & more Responsibilities Drive a Class A truck operating a day cab with flatbed trailer. Deliver solo freight to destinations in Texas, with occasional layovers. Ensure compliance with federal and state laws, regulations, and agency rules. Detect and minimize safety hazards and maintain accurate records and logs. Load and unload freight or assist as required by customer. Perform other duties as assigned. Requirements Minimum 21 years of age. Pass a Ryder drug test. Pass a Ryder background and motor vehicle check, including verification from previous employers for the last 3 years. Pass a DOT physical. Pass a Ryder road test. Provide a valid Class A CDL and required endorsements. Class A verifiable experience as tractor–trailer operator: 9 months within the last 3 years, OR 2 years within the last 5 years, OR 5 years within the last 10 years. Ability to follow written and/or oral instructions. Ability to read, interpret and apply laws, rules, regulations, policies and procedures.
