Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Product Specialist to join an aerospace manufacturing organization in Meriden, CT.
This position serves as a key technical and commercial resource supporting aerospace products throughout their lifecycle from quotation and new product introduction through production, product changes, and customer delivery.
The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of aerospace manufacturing and production processes and the ability to work effectively with aerospace OEM customers, Engineering, Manufacturing, Sales, and other internal teams .
Aerospace manufacturing experience is required. Candidates without aerospace manufacturing experience will not be considered.
Key Responsibilities
- Support New Product Introduction (NPI) activities
- Support product changes and product lifecycle activities
- Serve as the product and technical resource for assigned aerospace products
- Support products from quotation through production and customer delivery
- Work closely with Engineering and Manufacturing teams
- Support aerospace OEM customers and customer requirements
- Coordinate product requirements between customers and internal departments
- Help identify and resolve technical and product-related issues
- Support production and manufacturing activities
- Participate in product development and improvement activities
- Maintain accurate product information, records, and documentation
- Support customer-specific technical and manufacturing requirements
- Help ensure products meet customer, technical, quality, and manufacturing requirements
- Assist with cross-functional coordination throughout the product lifecycle
- Communicate technical information clearly to both customers and internal teams
Required Qualifications
- Aerospace manufacturing experience is required
- 3+ years of relevant experience in one or more of the following:
- Aerospace
- Manufacturing
- Product Management
- Engineering
- Technical Sales
- Related technical disciplines
- Experience supporting OEM aerospace customers
- Strong understanding of aerospace manufacturing and production processes
- Ability to understand and communicate technical product requirements
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work effectively with Engineering, Manufacturing, Sales, Quality, and customers
- Strong organizational and problem-solving skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with aerospace product development or NPI
- Experience supporting aerospace products throughout their lifecycle
- Experience working directly with aerospace OEM customers
- Experience interpreting customer technical requirements
- Familiarity with aerospace manufacturing processes and production environments
- Experience coordinating product changes and engineering requirements
Ideal Candidate
The ideal candidate is someone who can bridge the gap between the customer/commercial side and the technical/manufacturing side of an aerospace organization.
You should be comfortable discussing customer requirements, working with Engineering and Manufacturing, supporting product development, and helping resolve technical issues throughout the product lifecycle.
Compensation & Benefits
- $70,000 – $90,000 annual salary , based on experience

Important Requirement
Candidates must have aerospace manufacturing experience. Aerospace OEM customer experience and knowledge of aerospace production processes are strongly preferred.
