Location: Durham, NC, USA Responsibilities Conduct thorough mental health assessments and develop individualized treatment plans for students in accordance with university standards and best practices. Provide direct clinical services, such as individual and group therapy, crisis intervention, and psychoeducation, to students experiencing mental health concerns. Collaborate with other mental health professionals and campus resources to ensure coordinated and holistic care for students. Maintain accurate and confidential records of student interactions and treatment plans in compliance with legal and ethical standards. Stay up-to-date with current research and trends in mental health to inform and improve practice. Serve as an advocate for students and promote a supportive and inclusive campus environment for mental health. Participate in outreach and education initiatives to increase mental health awareness and reduce stigma on campus. Respond to emergency situations and provide appropriate interventions and referrals as needed. Communicate and consult with faculty, staff, and parents as appropriate regarding students' mental health needs and treatment plans. Attend regular team meetings and engage in ongoing professional development opportunities. Adhere to all institutional policies and procedures related to mental health services. Serve as a role model for ethical and professional conduct in all interactions with students and colleagues. Support and contribute to the overall mission and goals of Duke University. Job Qualifications Master's Degree In Mental Health Counseling, Social Work, Psychology, Or Related Field. Minimum Of 2 Years Of Experience Working In A Clinical Setting Providing Mental Health Services. Knowledge Of Evidence-Based Treatment Modalities And Techniques For Various Mental Health Conditions. Ability To Develop And Implement Treatment Plans, Conduct Assessments, And Provide Crisis Intervention. Strong Communication And Interpersonal Skills, With The Ability To Work Collaboratively With A Diverse Team And Population.
