Job Description & Requirements Specialty: OR - Operating Room Discipline: RN Start Date: 06/01/2026 Duration: 12 weeks 40 hours per week Shift: 8 hours, nights Employment Type: Travel Estimated Gross Weekly Pay: $3,160 $500 Contract Completion Bonus Job Details Multiple shift options available: 06:45-15:15, 14:45-19:15, 22:45-07:15 Schedule options include 3x12 hour shifts, 2x8 hour and 2x12 hour shifts, or 5x8 hour shifts Weekend rotation every 4th weekend (Saturday-Sunday) Holiday coverage required On-call responsibilities dependent on shifts/service line with 30-minute response time required OR operates 24/7, 365 days a year Monday-Friday operations 07:30-23:00, skeleton crew for trauma and urgent cases after 23:00 Saturday-Sunday operations 07:00-17:00, skeleton crew for trauma and urgent cases after 17:00 2-3 years of acute care experience required Must be able to scrub and circulate Critical care experience preferred Level 1-2 trauma experience required EPIC experience required BLS certification required Handle approximately 60-75 cases per day Work with outpatient, inpatient, and trauma cases Case types include general surgery, GYN, urology, robotics, vascular, ortho, neuro, open hearts/CABGS, transplants, and 20% pediatric cases No floating required Scrubs provided by facility Free parking available Sleeping room available for on-call team members Facility This major medical center is a 794-bed Level I Trauma Center with Magnet designation and serves as a Comprehensive Stroke Center. The facility features a 28-bed operating room with 2 hybrid rooms for cardiovascular and vascular procedures. The facility utilizes modern technology including EPIC EMR system, Alaris IV pumps, and Pyxis medication dispensing.
