Medication Technician

Silver Birch of Midtown is seeking Medication Technicians to join our team. In this role, you'll help ensure medications are administered safely and accurately, documentation is completed correctly and on time, and residents receive attentive, compassionate care. You'll work closely with other care team members to support resident updates and changes in condition.

What You'll Be Doing

• Maintain accurate and detailed records and reports
• Document medication administration and related activities
• Follow all medication management policies and procedures
• Record resident medical information and vital signs as needed
• Monitor and document self-administration of medications by residents
• Order and re-order medications, supplies, and equipment , partnering with pharmacies and families
• Provide friendly, respectful customer service to residents, families, and team members

What We're Looking For

• A high school diploma or GED
• One (1) or more years of experience as a Medication Technician in an Assisted Living community
• Arizona State Caregiver Certification through Direct Care
• Current CPR and First Aid certification
• A valid fingerprint clearance card
• A current food handler's card
• Strong customer service skills and attention to detail
