Job Responsibilities
  • Design Customized Treatment Plans: Assess patients' requirements and craft individualized therapy strategies that help them attain their life goals.
  • Implement Therapeutic Techniques: Apply evidence-based treatment methods aimed at improving motor functions, cognitive abilities, and daily life skills.
  • Collaborate with Healthcare Teams: Work alongside fellow OTs, PTs, STs, physicians, and nursing staff to provide integrated, comprehensive care.
  • Guide Patients and Families: Educate patients and their guardians on therapeutic techniques to foster sustained progress outside of clinical settings.
  • Document and Evaluate Progress: Track patient developments and modify treatment plans as necessary to guarantee they remain on their path to success.
Qualifications
  • Degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program
  • Encouraged to pursue continuing education and additional certifications
Licensure
  • Active Occupational Therapist (OTR/L) license required
  • NBCOT (National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy) certification necessary
