Clinical Nurse Manager - RN Required

The Clinical Coordinator (CC)/Clinical Nurse Manager (CNM) coordinates clinical activities within the Wound Care Center, collaborating with the Program Director and Medical Director to achieve program objectives and optimize healing outcomes. This role involves patient care assessment, care planning, implementation, quality improvement, and leadership of clinical staff. Essential Functions / Responsibilities Proficient in case management, conducting assessments, and providing patient & caregiver education related to wound care. Organizes clinical responsibilities and provides oversight to clinical staff (RNs, LPNs, LVNs, CMAs, Hyperbaric Oxygen Technicians, etc.). Collaborates with health‑care providers, hospital personnel, and center directors regarding clinical and patient needs. Identifies and implements process improvements while complying with HIPAA and other regulatory requirements. Engages in staff development, orientation, and provides constructive feedback. Works with Program Director on program objectives and budgeting. Coordinates vein clinic services when applicable. Assists Program Director and Medical Director to achieve quality indicators. Might act as Documentation Assistant (scribe) and, after training, as hyperbaric safety director, chamber operator, or emergency chamber operator. Performs patient care as staffing needs require. Performs other duties as assigned. Required Education, Experience & Credentials Current RN license maintained throughout employment. Associate’s Degree in Nursing (minimum); Bachelor of Science in Nursing preferred. Minimum one year RN experience; two or more years preferred. Prior supervisory experience preferred. Wound care certification preferred. Required Knowledge, Skills & Abilities Current BLS required. Planning, organization, prioritization and time‑management skills. Strong interpersonal, oral and written communication and presentation skills. Ability to work in a team, communicate in lay terms, and multitask. Strong customer service, follow‑up, analytical and quantitative skills. Leadership, team‑building, motivational and problem‑solving skills. Research and teaching skills. Microsoft Office proficiency (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint) preferred. Knowledge of hospital and web‑based database systems. Physical Demands Stationary position >4 hours. Viewing computer screen >4 hours. Typing >4 hours. Moving about, lifting up to 20 lbs, moving up to 75 lbs with assistance. Pushing, pulling, bending, stooping, reaching, grasping. Travel by car, airplane, etc. Work Environment Office / indoor patient care environment. Exposure to blood‑borne pathogens, hazardous chemicals, flammable gases, mechanical equipment, moving objects.
