Norwegian Analyst

Job Description As a Norwegian Linguist, you will play a critical role in driving success and innovation. Our work depends on a Norwegian Linguist joining our team to serve as a natively fluent language specialist with a Norwegian background to support a social media program in Tampa, FL. The preferred candidate will have native fluency in reading and writing Norwegian, with a thorough understanding of the region. How a Norwegian Linguist will make an impact Develops and maintains expertise with designated regional issues and draws upon publicly available online information resources. Reads, analyzes, and drafts communications regarding regional and ideological discussions in specified foreign language media environments. Examines current media statements or postings to support trend analysis and identifies key communicators. Demonstrates reading and writing expertise in Norwegian and incorporates custom social media solutions to comprehend online environments and communicate trends effectively. Supports operations planning and demonstrates knowledge of online social media and different technologies. Documents activities, notes, informative papers, or whitepapers written in English. May require the ability to work nonstandard hours and be on-call for periods of time. Some travel may be required. What you'll need to succeed Education: Bachelor's Degree required; experience may be substituted in lieu of degree. Experience: 0-3 years of related experience required. Security Clearance Level: Minimum DoW Secret clearance required; select positions require TS/SCI. Skills and Abilities: Native fluency in Norwegian, with a thorough understanding of the region. Strong analytical skills to interpret regional and ideological discussions. Expertise in online social media platforms and technologies. Excellent writing and communication skills in both Norwegian and English. Ability to document findings and produce informative papers or whitepapers. Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic operational environment. Additional Requirements: Select candidates will be language-tested. Location: Customer Site (Tampa, FL).
