Job Summary
Our client is seeking an experienced Warehouse Associate to support shipping, receiving, inventory management, and material movement within the warehouse. The ideal candidate has at least 2 years of warehouse experience, including receiving experience and forklift operation, is computer literate, and can adapt to new systems. This role requires strong attention to detail, reliable attendance, and the ability to work safely with heavy equipment while supporting material availability for assembly operations.
Job Description
- Assist in shipping or receiving when needed
- Read appropriate warehouse documentation to determine items to be moved, gathered, distributed, or shipped
- Move items to appropriate areas
- Record amounts of materials or items moved into the computer database
- Assist in conducting physical inventories and cycle counts
- Assist with maintaining inventory records by posting materials received and disbursed, writing shortage lists, and distributing them as required
- Maintain the warehouse in a clean, orderly, and safe manner
- Responsible for operating the warehouse machinery in a safe manner and reporting any equipment maintenance or problems to your immediate supervisor
- Perform other work-related tasks as assigned
- Comply with all company policies and procedures
- Strong knowledge of Oracle
- Ability to work with heavy equipment
- Capability to learn on the job and apply
- Ensure availability of material on assembly floor for all capital builds
- Perform other work-related tasks as assigned by the Warehouse Manager/Supervisor

- Technical Competencies
- Able to operate an MSCA (Oracle) Gun
- Operate both JIB and overhead cranes
- Must be able to safely lift up to 45 pounds
- May use other business systems (ERP/MRP)
- Use office copier to scan and copy documentation
- Wear a fall protection harness when performing work at heights
- Use company software, including Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Outlook
- Write, send, and receive emails to internal customers and employees
- Operate Class II and IV forklifts (Hyster 50-170, Order Picker, Manlift, and Reach Truck)
- Write, send, and receive emails from internal employees and external customers
Skills Required
- 2 years of previous warehouse experience
- Must be able to read and write in English
- Limited (less than 5%) travel
- Must be able to work a minimum of 40 hours
- Exposed to loud noise while in the warehouse
- Exposed to moving parts while on the shop floor
- Must be flexible to work overtime when needed
- Exposed to occasional hot and/or cold weather depending on outside climate conditions and warehouse temperature since the shop floor is neither air-conditioned nor heated
Education/Training/Certifications
- High school diploma or GED
Additional Requirements
- Must be able to pass a drug screen & criminal background check
- Schedule: Day Shift (6:00 AM – 6:00 PM), Monday through Friday, with overtime as needed
Pay Rate/Salary
- $21-$23/hr. Compensation will be offered within this posted range based on experience, skills, and market factors
