Payroll Administrator
Location: Benicia, CA (onsite)

You are a skilled and detail-oriented Payroll Administrator to manage payroll operations across California and Nevada, including union and non-union employees. This role is vital to ensuring compliance with multi-state labor laws, union agreements, and tax regulations while delivering accurate and timely payroll services.

This position pays: $33.00 to $36.00 per hour

What you will be doing:

• Process multi-state payroll (CA & NV) for union and non-union employees
• Ensure compliance with prevailing wage laws, CBAs, and labor regulations
• Maintain accurate records for earnings, deductions, benefits, garnishments, and union dues
• Calculate union-related components such as overtime, dues, and benefits
• Prepare and submit payroll tax filings and compliance reports
• Collaborate with HR and Accounting to ensure payroll accuracy
• Support internal and external payroll audits with required documentation
• Respond to employee payroll inquiries and resolve discrepancies

What you bring:

• Minimum of 2–3 years of payroll processing experience in a multi-state environment
• Experience with union payroll and understanding of CBAs preferred
• Proficiency in payroll systems (ADP or Del Tech preferred) and Microsoft Excel
• Strong knowledge of CA and NV payroll regulations and tax requirements
• Exceptional attention to detail, confidentiality, and organizational skills
• Effective communication and problem-solving abilities
• High school diploma or equivalent required
