Travel Nursing Job Details Location: Atlanta, Georgia 30342 Assignment Type: Travel nurse contract Weekly Estimated Pay: $1,770–$1,870 Start Date: October 26, 2026 End Date: January 23, 2027 Contract Duration: 13 weeks Nursing Schedule: Evening schedule, Monday through Friday, with shifts scheduled between 10:45 a.m. and 11:15 p.m. Shift Duration: 12-hour shifts Shifts per Week: 3 Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours per week Healthcare Setting: On-site Operating Room Operating Room Registered Nurse Requirements Current Registered Nurse (RN) license eligible for practice in Georgia At least 2 years of recent Operating Room nursing or perioperative nursing experience Current American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) certification Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification preferred Demonstrated expertise across a broad range of surgical specialties, including robotics, neurosurgery, orthopedics, plastics, and gynecology Ability to work scheduled major and minor holidays as required by the assignment Strong clinical judgment, communication, organization, and teamwork skills Perioperative Nursing Responsibilities Provide safe, effective perioperative nursing care throughout the surgical experience Prepare operating rooms, equipment, instruments, and supplies for scheduled surgical procedures Function effectively in circulating and other assigned Operating Room nursing roles Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesia professionals, surgical technologists, and the broader perioperative care team Support procedures across multiple specialties, including robotic, neurological, orthopedic, plastic, and gynecological surgery Maintain sterile technique and follow established infection prevention and patient safety standards Monitor patient status, anticipate procedural needs, and respond promptly to changes in condition Complete accurate clinical documentation and participate in handoff communication Apply now to join this Atlanta travel nursing team as an Operating Room Registered Nurse and advance your perioperative nursing career in Georgia.
