The Assistant Principal serves as a key member of the school's leadership team, partnering closely with the Principal to support instructional excellence, strengthen school operations, and cultivate a positive school culture. This is an exciting opportunity for an educational leader who enjoys coaching teachers, building systems, solving problems, and helping both students and staff succeed. Key Responsibilities Partner with the Principal to implement the school's vision, strategic priorities, and educational goals. Support and coach teachers through classroom observations, feedback, mentoring, and professional growth opportunities. Foster a positive, student-centered culture that promotes academic excellence, accountability, inclusion, and respect. Lead and support school-wide initiatives that improve teaching, learning, and operational effectiveness. Collaborate with faculty to strengthen curriculum, instructional practices, and student outcomes. Build strong relationships with students, families, faculty, and the broader school community. Assist with student discipline, behavior support, and social-emotional development using a restorative and growth-focused approach. Help oversee school operations, scheduling, policies, and administrative systems to ensure a well-organized learning environment. Use data to support instructional decision-making, monitor student progress, and identify opportunities for continuous improvement. Assist in planning and leading professional development initiatives and faculty meetings. Support admissions, enrollment, retention, and community engagement efforts. Help lead systems-level improvements that enhance organizational effectiveness and support the school's continued growth. Perform additional leadership responsibilities as assigned by the Principal. Qualifications Master's degree in Educational Leadership, Administration, Curriculum and Instruction, or a related field preferred. Wisconsin Principal licensure (or eligibility to obtain licensure) preferred. Minimum of five years of successful teaching experience; prior leadership experience strongly preferred. Demonstrated ability to coach, mentor, and inspire educators. Exceptional organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills. Strong problem-solving abilities with a collaborative leadership style. Commitment to building an inclusive, respectful, and student-focused school culture. Experience in an independent, private, charter, or faith-based school environment is welcomed but not required. Why Bader Hillel Academy?
