If you're passionate about hospitality, teamwork, and great food, we'd love to have you on board!  Position Summary The Dishwasher is a crucial part of our Kitchen Team, responsible for ensuring that all dishware, cookware, and utensils are clean, sanitized, and ready for service. This role plays a key role in maintaining cleanliness and efficiency in the kitchen while supporting the team in delivering a top-tier dining experience for every guest. As a Dishwasher at Nick's, you'll work in coordination with the kitchen and front-of-house staff to keep up with the fast-paced demands of service. You'll also assist in general kitchen cleanliness, trash disposal, and equipment maintenance. No matter your title, we believe in lifting each other up and delivering exceptional service as a team-because that's what makes Nick's a great place to work.  Essential Duties & Responsibilities Operate dishwashing equipment to clean and sanitize plates, glassware, utensils, and kitchen tools. Maintain a steady flow of clean dishware and cookware to support kitchen and service teams. Ensure all kitchen equipment, cutting boards, and prep stations remain clean and sanitary. Properly sort and dispose of trash, recycling, and food waste in designated areas. Monitor chemical levels and equipment functionality, alerting managers of any issues. Assist with sweeping, mopping, and maintaining kitchen cleanliness throughout each shift. Follow all health, safety, and sanitation guidelines to ensure compliance with restaurant policies. Work as part of a team-service approach, collaborating with colleagues to maintain a stress-free and engaging work environment. Maintain a positive attitude and professional demeanor, embodying Nick's values of Excellence, Teamwork, Respect, and Accountability.  What We're Looking For A strong work ethic and willingness to be part of a team. Ability to work quickly and efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen environment. Strong attention to cleanliness and detail. Ability to stand, walk, and lift heavy items for extended periods. Willingness to work flexible schedules, including nights, weekends, and holidays. Prior experience in dishwashing, janitorial, or kitchen support roles is a plus but not required.  Physical Requirements Working as a Dishwasher at Nick's requires stamina, focus, and the ability to work efficiently in a high-energy environment. Candidates must be able to: Stand and walk for extended periods (6-10 hours per shift). Lift and carry heavy dish racks, pots, and supplies weighing up to 35 lbs. Perform repetitive motions such as scrubbing, lifting, and loading/unloading dishware. Work in a hot, humid, and fast-paced kitchen environment.
