At SYNERGY HomeCare of North County, we are seeking a compassionate and skilled Certified Caregiver to join our team in San Marcos, CA. About the Role

As a Certified Caregiver, you will be responsible for providing personalized care and assistance to our clients in their homes. Your duties will include, but not be limited to:

• Assisting clients with daily living activities, such as bathing, dressing, and grooming
• Managing medications and administering injections, as needed
• Providing meal preparation and assistance with feeding
• Assisting with mobility and transfers, including use of walkers and wheelchairs
• Providing emotional support and companionship to clients
• Maintaining accurate records of client care and services provided

Responsibilities

Provide high-quality care and support to clients in their homes, following established protocols and guidelines. Maintain a clean and safe environment for clients, including their homes and yards. Work closely with other caregivers, healthcare professionals, and family members to ensure continuity of care. Participate in ongoing training and education to stay up-to-date on industry best practices and regulatory requirements. Maintain confidentiality and discretion in all aspects of client care.

Requirements

Certified Caregiver (CCG) certification or willingness to obtain within 6 months of hire date. High school diploma or equivalent. Ability to lift 25 pounds or more, with assistance if needed. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work varying shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
