Description: The facility is currently in need of hospitalist providers due to staffing shortages.The need arises from recent resignations, prompting an urgent requirement for coverage.Candidates should be available to begin as soon as possible.The expected duration of this need is approximately 6-8 months.Providers will be required to cover shifts on-site, including weekends and nights.Specific dates for coverage will be based on existing provider availability.Call is not involved in this position, and no call rotation schedule is required.Training and shadow shifts will be provided to familiarize providers with facility operations.There are no specific fellowships or procedures required for this position.The average patient census is around 65-70, with each provider managing 15-16 patients daily.Daily admissions are currently averaging 12-16.The facility houses approximately 425 beds and serves a large, diverse patient population typical of a tertiary care facility.Support staff includes 3-4 physicians on duty during day shifts, along with ancillary personnel.No procedures or vent management are required for this role.Providers participate in rounding with nurses and staff, including daily grand rounds.
