Support and Reliability Engineer (Mid-Level)Location: LATAM | 100% RemoteRole Overview:As a Support and Reliability Engineer at InterSources Inc, you'll play a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth operation of our systems, proactively resolving issues, and maintaining high standards of reliability for our software applications. This position requires a solid understanding of SQL, Microsoft Server, and a proactive mindset to identify and address potential issues before they impact our users.Key Responsibilities:- Respond to help desk tickets and support calls promptly, providing technical assistance and resolutions for software-related issues. - Proactively identify and resolve issues using monitoring tools like Telemetry and our in-app error logging system. - Investigate and address SQL query performance issues, software defects affecting application functionality, and product configuration issues. - Conduct thorough investigations to determine the root causes of complex help desk issues, providing comprehensive reports and solutions. - Collaborate with development teams by creating and documenting cases for software defects. - Assist in general server and infrastructure maintenance tasks, such as managing disk space on servers to ensure optimal performance. - Offer on-call support during weekends and after business hours to address critical issues as they arise.Required Skills and Qualifications:- Proficiency in SQL and Microsoft Server environments. - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to troubleshoot complex issues efficiently. - Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment. - Excellent communication skills to convey technical information effectively. - Proactive and detail-oriented approach to prevent and address potential system issues.
