Senior Electrical Design Engineer Diversified Services Network, Inc. (DSN) is seeking a Senior Electrical Design Engineer to support a leading industrial equipment manufacturer's standby power solutions team in Griffin, GA. This is a hybrid position requiring two days per week onsite. Position Overview
• Support engineering project leads and electrical team leads to develop subsystem and component designs that meet customer requirements.
• Own Creo design, detailing, and release work across the full lifecycle of standby power solution projects - concept, detailed design, release, purchasing support, build support, and commissioning support.
• Collaborate daily with local and international team members throughout the design and release process. Team Structure & Work Environment
• Work alongside electrical leads who provide project requirements and timelines and report on project status weekly.
• Join a seven-person electrical design team, with four members local and three based in other locations.
• Work from a dedicated desk in-office alongside the electrical subsystem, mechanical subsystem, and project-level engineering teams, with occasional visits to the shop floor requiring steel-toe shoes and other PPE. Requirements Education & Experience
• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering (BSEE) or Electrical Engineering Technology (BSEET) with 8+ years of relevant experience.
• Candidates with an Associate's degree and 12+ years of directly relevant experience, or a Master's degree and 6+ years of directly relevant experience, will also be considered. Top Skills
• Strong Creo modeling proficiency, including designing, detailing, and releasing full standby power solutions
• AutoCAD basics
• Teamcenter Additional Technical Skills Required:
• 480V and 208/120V AC power system design
• Power distribution
• DC system design Desired:
• Creo Cabling
• Creo RSD
• TCP/IP knowledge
• J1939 and RS-485 network knowledge Soft Skills
• Strong organizational skills
