As a Mazevo barista, you will have the chance to represent our business by providing excellent customer service while offering our delicious products. You'll work in a bustling and energetic atmosphere where you can hone your food and beverage skills, collaborate with friends, and meet new people every day. We think our baristas have the ability to make every customer's day better with only a smile and a cup of coffee. Mazevo Coffee exists to Love One Another, one cup at a time.

Responsibilities:

• You will be preparing coffee drinks and food for customers while creating a friendly and hospitable atmosphere
• Greet all customers with a friendly smile; provide friendly, efficient, and personal service to each customer
• Take food and drink orders; understand the food and beverage menu in order to provide the best possible description and execution of menu items to your guests
• Demonstrate an in-depth understanding of the coffee preparation process, including specialty drinks
• Accurately and efficiently enter orders into POS system
• Clear and reset counters and tables at the conclusion of each guest visit
• Maintain cleanliness of work areas throughout the day, practicing clean-as-you-go procedures

• You like interacting with other people and consider yourself to be “people person"
• Love teamwork and value the opportunity to work together

• Are willing to learn new things, especially the newest recipe for a beverage!
• Able to maintain composure in a hectic, high-energy work environment
• Possess outstanding communication abilities
• No prior experience necessary
• Maintain constant and regular attendance and punctuality, whether or not a suitable accommodation is provided.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule that may include weekends, evenings, early mornings, late nights, and/or holidays
• Meet store operating policies and standards, including providing quality beverages and food products, cash handling and store safety and security, with or without reasonable accommodation
• Engage with and comprehend our customers, including learning about their demands and meeting them through amiable and transparent communication
• Rapid learning ability
• Being able to follow oral and written directions, comprehend them, and ask for clarification when necessary
• Excellent interpersonal skills
• The capacity to cooperate in a group
• The capacity to form relationships

• Pay is between $14.00 and $20 per hour when factoring in your tips.
• Base wage is between $10.85 and $13.50 per hour depending on experience.
