Lead Subcontracts Specialist

Our client, a defense and aerospace organization, is seeking a Lead Subcontracts Specialist to join their team. As a Lead Subcontracts Specialist, you will be part of the Mechanical Assembly Government Sourcing department supporting key Honeywell programs. The ideal candidate will have attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and strong negotiation skills which will align successfully in the organization. Job Title: Lead Subcontracts Specialist Location: Phoenix AZ Pay Range: $67.00 - $76.00/hour What’s the Job? Lead the end-to-end cycle of FAR15 proposals and subcontracts supporting key Honeywell programs. Execute FAR15 subcontracts in accordance with FAR, DFARS, and applicable regulations. Build strong negotiation positions for contract execution and negotiate with suppliers. Manage key program suppliers and develop supplier strategies to deliver best overall value. Mentor and train team members while leading a commodity within the team. What’s Needed? Minimum 5-7 years of experience in Sourcing, Procurement, Supply Chain, L&C, Business, or Finance. US Citizen/US Person due to contractual requirements. Subcontracting experience with FAR15. Strong negotiation skills and processes. Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously and strong communication skills. What’s in it for me?
