The shift runs from 07:00 to 17:30. The role involves working with a patient ratio based on unit staffing description. The unit has a capacity of 7 holding beds. Equipment used includes GE Innova and Impella. Documentation systems are MacLab and Meditech. Self-scheduling is available with a schedule of Monday to Friday, 07:00 to 15:30. Call requirements involve ST Elevation Myocardial Infarction (STEMI) approximately 10 to 12 days a month. Advanced skills needed for this role include PCI, PFO, and the use of Impella and IABP. Procedures performed in the unit include TAVR, PFOA, atherectomy, PCI, left heart catheterization, Impella/IABP implants, DCCV, and TEE. Surgical scrubs will be provided. Candidates will appreciate the experienced staff and new technology utilized in the department.
