Registered Nurse - Medical Neuro Unit/Neuro ICU - Nights page is loaded## Registered Nurse - Medical Neuro Unit/Neuro ICU - Nightslocations: NCH 800 W Central Rd Arlington Heightstime type: Full timeposted on: Posted Todayjob requisition id: R39911**Hourly Pay Range:**$36.00 - $55.80 - The hourly pay rate offered is determined by a candidate's expertise and years of experience, among other factors.**Position Highlights:*** Position: Registered Nurse - Inpatient Medical Neuro Unit and Neuro ICU- This position will work on both units depending on the need.* Location: Northwest Community Hospital - Arlington Heights, IL* Full Time, 36 hours/week* Hours: 6:00am - 6:30pm and 7:00am - 7:30pm, Every other weekend required* Required Travel: No**What you will do:*** Provides patient assessment and collection of health data involving patient, family and other health care providers.* Coordinates patient plan of care to assure interventions are consistent, safe, timely and appropriate.* Communicates clearly and effectively with all customers, in person, on the phone and in writing.* Individualizes patient and family teaching based on a thorough assessment to meet their specific learning needs.* Participates in evaluating quality and effectiveness of nursing practice by participating in quality improvement initiatives.* Maintains professional knowledge in current nursing practice standards, laws and regulations.**What you will need:*** Successful completion of an Associate's degree or BSN from an accredited school of nursing* Current licensure to practice nursing in the State of Illinois* Current CPR certification from the American Heart Association* ACLS certification within 3 months of hire**Benefits (For full time or part time positions):*** Eligibility for our Annual Incentive Plan, which offers the potential to earn a certain percentage amount of your base salary based on organizational performance.
