Job Title: RN - NICU Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty: Neonatal Intensive Care Unit Duration: 13 Weeks Shift: Night Shift Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum 2 years of NICU experience, including Level 4 NICU experience License: Current Registered Nurse license Certifications: BLS and NRP required Must-Have: - Minimum 2 years of NICU experience - Level 4 NICU experience Description: This position is for a backfill contract as a Registered Nurse in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit. The schedule is from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM. On-call is required for this role. The unit has a total of 65 beds and a staff count of over 200. Patient ratios vary from 1:1 to 4:1. Equipment used in the unit includes resuscitators, ventilators, feeding pumps, IV pumps, and breast pumps. The Electronic Medical Record system is Meditech and CPN. Permanent positions are available in the unit, with options for night shift and weekend days. Teamwork is essential, and candidates should possess a positive attitude and be adaptable to change. The dress code requires navy scrubs, with no exceptions made for unacceptable attire. Team players who thrive in a collaborative environment will be highly valued. Candidates with preferred experience will be considered first, so having Level 4 NICU experience enhances candidacy.
