Additional information can be found at Scope :- The rout and/or specialty machining operator will take supplied machine programing information and assign proper tools to each program set as well as set bits and tools properly. Additionally, they will assign proper tool kitting positions.
- Operator one or more machines simultaneously
- Independently perform complex (specialty machining) or standard (rout) machine set-ups
- Programming of machines and fabrication programs
- Align production panels to tooling pins on fabrication machine
- Visually and mechanically inspect PCBs and panels
- Make required adjustments to machine settings (i.e. X and Y axis in rout; X, Y, and Z axis in specialty machining)
- Operator chamfer and beveling machines
- Use computer measuring machine and dial calipers
- Utilize and operator board washer to ensure PCBs are clean before sending for inspection
- Follow all departmental process procedures correctly
- Complete all departmental documentation accurately
- Complete quality checks when product arrives in and exits the department
- Perform other tasks as assigned by management and cross-train as needed to assist production
- Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds unassisted
- Ability to stand for the duration of shift
- Ability to read and understand blueprints, customer specifications, and procedures
- Basic math, problem solving, interpersonal skills, and computer skills
- Must possess interpersonal, problem solving, and communication skills
- Follow all safety measures
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Previous manufacturing experience preferred
- Previous PCB experience preferred
- Numerical control experience preferred
- Post-secondary schooling in machining preferred
Must comply with TTM Export Control Policies and Procedures and all applicable laws including ITAR, EAR and OFAC including but not limited to: a) being able to identify ITAR product on the manufacturing floor and understand that access to these products and related technical data is restricted to only US Citizens and US Permanent Residents; b) recognition of Foreign Person visitors by badge differentiation; c) understand and follow authorization procedures for bringing foreign visitors into facilities (VAL); d) understand the Export and ITAR requirements for shipments leaving the US; e) manage vendor approvals for ITAR manufacturing and services.
