About the Position

Job Title: RN - Diagnostic Cardiology Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty: Diagnostic Cardiology Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 8-hour Day Shift Hours per Shift: 9 am - 6 pm (1 hour lunch) Experience: Minimum 2 years of cardiac experience required License: RN License required Certifications: BLS, ACLS; PALS preferred Must-Have: Experience in TEEs, stress testing, EKG interpretation, IV management, cardioversion, mild sedation, infusion Description: The RN will be responsible for providing care in the field of diagnostic cardiology. This includes performing advanced cardiac diagnostic procedures such as TEE, stress echo, and dobutamine stress echo studies. The patient population will include individuals diagnosed with heart failure and other cardiac conditions. The position requires strong skills in EKG interpretation and IV management. Candidates should be comfortable working in a fast-paced, patient-focused environment that emphasizes high-quality care. The department supports continuous education with dedicated resources available. The ideal candidate will demonstrate an ability to balance portable and in-lab studies effectively. The role contributes to advanced cardiology practices within an academic setting.
