Position Description: Contributes to the planning, design, procurement, and implementation of changes to manufacturing equipment, processes, and systems, ensuring alignment with safety, quality, productivity, and cost requirements.Participates in manufacturing and continuous improvement projects, collaborating with internal and external teams to develop and implement solutions that optimize processes, equipment, and work methods.In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways:1. Manufacturing and Process Engineeringo\tSupport the planning, design, and implementation of manufacturing processes, equipment, and systems, ensuring compliance with safety, quality, productivity, and product requirements.o\tApply manufacturing engineering principles and practices to improve equipment, processes, and work methods.o\tParticipate in the implementation and improvement of manufacturing processes, ensuring alignment with business objectives.o\tContribute to the development and standardization of work methods, procedures, and manufacturing standards.o\tAnalyze processes, equipment, and performance using digital tools and engineering methodologies to support data-driven decision- making.o\tParticipate in continuous improvement and waste reduction initiatives to reduce costs and improve process quality and efficiency.2. Projects and Implementationo\tParticipate in projects involving the implementation or modification of manufacturing processes and equipment.o\tSupport project planning, execution, and follow-up, including activities, timelines, resources, and deliverables.o\tTrack project progress and communicate status updates to management in a timely manner.o\tIdentify risks, issues, and deviations during implementation and collaborate with relevant teams to develop solutions.o\tParticipate in the selection of manufacturing equipment that meets specifications.3. Quality, Documentation, and Standardizationo\tDevelop and maintain manufacturing process documentation, procedures, and work instructions in the appropriate sequence to ensure process standardization and continuity.o\tParticipate in the development and maintenance of manufacturing documentation, including FMEAs, Control Plans, and process documentation.o\tApply quality tools and Statistical Process Control (SPC) methodologies to monitor and improve process performance.o\tEnsure implemented changes comply with product specifications and applicable manufacturing standards.o\tMaintain accurate project and process documentation and share lessons learned and best practices to drive continuous improvement.4. Equipment, Tooling, and Workstation Designo\tInterpret and integrate product design drawings and manufacturing equipment engineering drawings to support the development of optimized processes.o\tParticipate in the design and selection of fixtures and tooling required to properly secure parts and products during the manufacturing process.o\tApply ergonomic design guidelines to reduce risks and develop safe and ergonomic workspaces.o\tContribute to the development of efficient processes and workstations that support productivity and operator well-being.5. Problem Solving and Continuous Improvemento\tIdentify opportunities to improve processes and equipment through continuous improvement and waste reduction methodologies.o\tSolve problems using systematic analysis methodologies and quality tools to identify assignable causes and root causes.o\tImplement robust, data-driven solutions to prevent recurrence of issues and protect the customer.o\tContribute to the identification and implementation of corrective and preventive actions.6.
