Roles & Responsibilities

• Deliver physical therapy interventions exactly as outlined in the PT plan of care
• Document patient progress, response to treatment, and any changes in condition
• Empower patients through education and customized home exercise programs
• Keep the supervising PT in the loop with clear, timely communication
• Champion safety, infection control, and compliance standards every step of the way

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program
• Active Maryland PTA license (or the ability to obtain one)
• Ability to follow detailed treatment plans and collaborate with interdisciplinary teams
• A genuine passion for helping patients restore mobility and independence

Education

• Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program

Knowledge & Skills

• Physical therapy and rehabilitation techniques
• Therapy interventions and home exercise programs
• Patient education and clear communication
• Clinical documentation and accurate record keeping
• Infection control and compliance standards
• Team collaboration and adaptability
