Manufacturing Technician Rough Heat Treat 3rd Shift M-F 10pm to 6pm (P) About the Role Location United States of America Florida Remote vs. Office Office/Site only Company Organization Gas Services Business Unit Central Full-time Experience Level Early Professional A Snapshot of Your Day Will be working with the operation and process of heat treat furnaces. Operators verify components to be heat treated by work order and engineering notes to ensure furnace cycle times and profiles. Operators also be documenting heat treatment to ensure part compliance in the Gibsonton Florida location. How You’ll Make an Impact Will be checking and reporting any Safety opportunities or near miss and ensuring all parts are properly rinsed / flushed after acid process. Examining finished parts to ensure conformance to specifications and quality. Performing basic or specifically defined maintenance operations; cooperating with maintenance technicians and/or external service providers in repair issues. Operating equipment and performing some manufacturing operations including but not limited to wax assembly, injection, sandblast, grinding, or knockout to determine the best process and to expedite engineering parts. Other duties may be assigned and cross‑training as needed. What You Bring Evidence of High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required. Able to work in a hot environment and stand for long periods of time. Quality background is a plus. Ability to read engineering instructions. Applicants must be legally authorized for employment in the United States without the need for current or future employer-sponsored work authorization. This position will require an export license from the Department of Commerce, Bureau of Industry and Security and/or the Department of State, Directorate of Defense Trade Controls. Issuance of any required license is a prerequisite for this position. The candidate must be able to work with export‑controlled technology in accordance with US export control law.
