Competitive pay Career growth and advancement opportunities Stable, growing company Fast‑paced team environment Comprehensive benefits package Role Summary As a Delivery Driver, you will be the face of Parts Authority, delivering automotive parts safely and on time, while providing outstanding customer service and building lasting relationships. Responsibilities Pick up and drop off automotive parts, adhering to assigned routes and time schedules. Load, transport, and deliver items to customers or businesses in a timely, friendly, and courteous manner. Review orders before and after delivery to confirm completeness and accuracy, and ensure customer satisfaction. Take and follow directions from dispatcher; use navigation apps and alternate routes when necessary. Assist with loading and unloading items from vehicles without interfering with customer operations. Provide excellent customer service, answering questions and handling complaints professionally. Abide by all transportation laws and maintain a safe driving record. Accept payments, prepare reports, reconcile debt and credit, and manage all moneys related to deliveries. Complete daily maintenance checks on company vehicle and notify manager of issues. Assist with additional store/warehouse duties such as stocking and parts pulling, as assigned. Maintain and promote workplace safety. Secure and transfer cash or other assets. Qualifications Current, valid driver’s license. Must meet company insurance requirements (drivers must be 21 years old or over). Current valid automobile insurance with your name on the policy. Ability to lift, move, push, and pull up to 50 pounds; auto body parts collision drivers up to 75 pounds. Ability to manage, track, and account for money transactions and reconcile customer credit and debt balances. Proficiency in using a tablet and/or mobile device for navigation, route optimization, tracking, and customer interface/signature capture. Exceptional customer and verbal communication skills. Ability to take and follow directions and work well with others as part of a team. Flexible schedule and willingness to work overtime as needed. Previous delivery driving experience is a plus.
