Occupational Therapist - Travel Contract

Make a meaningful difference as a travel OT with Jackson Therapy Partners! We're seeking a dedicated and compassionate Occupational Therapist to help patients with injuries, illnesses, or disabilities regain or improve their daily skills while exploring a brand-new location.

Minimum Requirements

• Bachelor's, Master's or Doctoral Degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited educational program.
• Active State License is Required to Start the Assignment
• BLS Certification May Be Required from AHA or ARC
• Active Michigan/MI Occupational Therapist License
• Active American Heart Association BLS
• Outpatient occupational therapy experience

Assignment Details

• Shift hours fall between 7:30 am and 6:00 pm.
• Preferred schedule is 8-hour days.
• Weekend requirement: one Saturday per month.
• Some acute care duties may be included.

Location Highlights

Alpena offers access to Lake Huron shoreline and a quieter northern Michigan setting for outdoor-focused travel assignments. Thompson's Harbor State Park is about 25 miles north, and Rockport State Recreation Area is about 15 miles away with trails, sinkholes, and lake access. Downtown Alpena includes the Great Lakes Maritime Heritage Center and the Thunder Bay National Marine Sanctuary, both located near the waterfront. Alpena is also home to Alpena State Park and Island Park, with riverfront and boating access close to the city center.
