Cloud Automation Engineer

Cloud Automation EngineerTyler Technologies is looking to hire a Cloud Automation Engineer to support their Corporate Cloud Services Team with a focus on security and compliance frameworks. In this role, you will focus on developing and optimizing cloud infrastructure, automate and improve operations and ensure scalability and security to our cloud environment. Qualified candidates will have cloud and automation expertise, and familiarity with common compliance frameworks.ResponsibilitiesWork with hosting and divisional resources to develop and implement automation around cloud-based infrastructure as a service.Work with business partners to design and implement new product solutions and processes for use in the cloud.Maintain compliance and provide evidence for audit standards.Maintain a written knowledgebase for the purposes of transferring knowledge to those who will be tasked with long term monitoring and maintenance of implemented clients/products/processes/solutionsProvide incident and outage response in order to meet Tyler SLA's.Prepare and maintain documentation on operations tool sets and cross-train personnel on their use and maintenance.Follow industry best practices for change management process.QualificationsBachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field, or comparable work experience.7+ years of experience working in an Enterprise IT environment.5+ years of system administration experience.4+ years of practical Public Cloud (AWS, Azure, Google) hosting and deployment experience.Extensive experience with the following technologies:IAM administrationEC2, S3, EBS, ELB, SES, Route 53AWS API Gateway, Step Functions, SQS, and LambdaCloud Formation, TerraformPython, PowerShell, JSON, and Javascript FrameworksPractical experience with architecting automation solutionsWorking knowledge of common information security and privacy frameworks, such as FedRAMP, CJIS, ISO 27001, PCI-DSS, SSAE 18 SOC 2, HIPAA, CCPA, etc.Excellent written and verbal communication and customer service skills.Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.Demonstrated ability to independently troubleshoot and solve complex technical issues in a fast-paced environment.Required to undergo and satisfactorily pass a fingerprint background check in accordance with CJIS requirements.
