AuthoraCare Collective is currently seeking a PRN Board Certified Chaplain with availability 2-3 days during the week 8:00am - 5:00pm. Job Summary: Responsible for providing comprehensive assessment of the spiritual, religious and emotional needs of Hospice patients and their support systems. Provides advanced spiritual counseling to address patient/family issues of grief and loss, spiritual concerns, religious needs, and end of life planning. Coordinates or officiates spiritual/religious rituals as requested. Functions as a member of an interdisciplinary team and is considered the lead expert in spiritual care matters. Required Qualifications: Master's Degree (M. Div.) from an accredited institution or equivalent. Educational and clinical experience in the area of death and dying. At least two years of spiritual care experience. Must have completed four units of Clinical Pastoral Education (CPE). Ecclesiastical endorsement and/or leadership standing within one’s religious/spiritual tradition required. Board certification with the Association of Professional Chaplains (APC), the National Association of Catholic Chaplains (NACC), or Neshama: Association of Jewish Chaplains (NAJC) within two years of hire required. Other: Valid state-issued driver's license required. Must carry automobile liability insurance at limits required by agency. Must have own transportation.
