Registered Nurse - Medical Surgical Unit (Nights)

This is a 13-week contract position.

Night Shift: 4x12-hour shifts (18:30 - 07:00)

We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse to join our Medical Surgical unit for night shifts. The ideal candidate will provide comprehensive patient care while maintaining high standards and supporting a positive patient environment.

Responsibilities:

• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Conduct patient assessments and monitor vital signs.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to create and implement patient care plans.
• Provide wound care and manage patients with various diagnoses.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and infection control protocols.
• Respond to patient inquiries and provide education regarding health management.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure:

• Current RN License.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
• Crisis Prevention Institute (CPI) certification preferred.
• 1 year of recent nursing experience in a medical-surgical setting.
• Experience with Epic charting system.
