Assembler

The assembler works as part of a collaborative production team and takes responsibility for assembling complete products or key components. This role involves rotating through various tasks within the production process, supporting wiring assembly activities, and safely operating equipment to help ensure efficient, high-quality manufacturing.

Responsibilities

• Assemble complete products or specific components according to established procedures and quality standards.
• Rotate through all tasks required in the assigned production process to support flexible and efficient operations.
• Determine daily work assignments and follow defined procedures to meet production goals.
• Maintain a clean and orderly work area, including shoveling and sweeping as needed to support a safe environment.
• Operate heavy equipment such as forklifts in a safe and controlled manner, following all safety guidelines.
• Assist in the production of wiring assemblies by preparing, assembling, and handling components as instructed.
• Follow all company policies, procedures, and safety practices during production activities.
• Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors to report progress, issues, or potential improvements.
• Support quality control efforts by monitoring work for accuracy and identifying defects or irregularities.
• Use basic problem-solving skills to address routine production issues and escalate more complex problems when necessary.

• Ability to safely operate a forklift and other heavy equipment, following established safety guidelines.
• Capability to assist with wiring assemblies, including handling and assembling wiring components.
• High school diploma or GED.
• 02 years of related experience in manufacturing, assembly, or a similar environment.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Experience using forklifts in a production or warehouse environment.
• Comfort performing physical tasks such as shoveling, sweeping, and general housekeeping in production areas.
• Basic understanding of security practices that protect people, data, property, and equipment in an industrial setting.
• Willingness to rotate between different tasks and adapt to changing production needs.
• Reliability and punctuality to support consistent production schedules.

Work Environment

This role is based in a production and manufacturing setting where you will work on an assigned shift. You will spend most of your time on the shop floor, rotating through different assembly and production tasks. The environment involves working around machinery and heavy equipment such as forklifts, as well as tools and materials used for wiring assemblies. The position requires standing, moving between workstations, and performing physical activities such as shoveling and sweeping to keep the area clean and safe. You will follow established safety policies, procedures, and equipment guidelines at all times, and you will work closely with a team in a structured, process-driven environment.

Job Type & Location

This is a contract position based out of Fort Worth, TX.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $16.50 - $16.50/hr.
