Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Registered Nurse (RN) Specialty: Labor & Delivery Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 7:00 AM - 7:30 PM Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: 2+ years recent high volume Labor Delivery experience License: Active RN license Certifications: - Active American Heart Association ACLS certification - Active American Heart Association BLS certification - Active Electronic Fetal Monitoring (EFM) certification - Active NIH Stroke Scale/Score (NIHSS) certification Must-Have: - Must be willing to obtain EFM Certification within 48 hours if offered - Must be willing to obtain NIHSS Certification within 48 hours if offered - Flu vaccination required; declinations not approved - COVID vaccination required; declinations not approved; must be state record - Previous travel experience - Must be willing to work the facility's schedule Description: This position assesses nursing care of patients in accordance with organizational policies. It follows the standards of professional nursing practice while utilizing the framework for professional nursing practice and development. The position is accountable for the quality of nursing services delivered by self or others under their direction. Specialized knowledge, judgment, and nursing skills are necessary to assess data and plan, provide, and evaluate care appropriate to the physical and developmental age of assigned patients. Candidates without the required qualifications or who have scheduling restrictions will not be accepted. All gaps in the resume over 30 days must be clearly explained. A supervisory reference from the last 6 months and another from the last 12 months are required. Skills checklist must be specific to Labor & Delivery.
