Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Nights | 3x12-Hour Shifts (19:00–07:00)

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a high-acuity, fast-paced 54-bed Emergency Department averaging approximately 220 patients per day
• Deliver emergency nursing care in a Level 2 Trauma Center environment
• Assess, triage, and manage patients across a broad spectrum of emergency and trauma presentations
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to ensure timely and effective patient outcomes
• Float to other units as needed, in rotation with staff and in accordance with facility floating policies and clinical experience
• Participate in required orientation modules and annual competency training via the facility's learning portal

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Minimum of 2 years of Emergency Room nursing experience
• Minimum of 1 year of travel nursing experience
• Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS, TNCC, and NIH Stroke Scale (pending certifications may be considered)
• Proficiency with EPIC electronic health records system
• 2-Step PPD and Flu Vaccine required – no exemptions accepted

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience working in a Level 2 Trauma Center or similarly high-acuity emergency environment
• Demonstrated ability to perform effectively in a high-volume, fast-paced emergency department setting
