Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a Cardiac Stepdown and Cath Lab Recovery/Observation Unit setting
• Titrate cardiac drips and monitor patient response to vasoactive and antiarrhythmic medications
• Perform sheath pulls following cardiac catheterization procedures and monitor access sites for complications
• Monitor hemodynamic status and vascular access sites post-procedure
• Deliver general medical/surgical nursing care as appropriate to patient population

Required Qualifications

• Active RN licensure in the state of Texas or compact license eligibility
• Cardiac drip titration experience required
• Experience pulling sheaths and monitoring vascular access sites required
• General medical/surgical nursing knowledge and competency
• Current BLS certification required; ACLS strongly recommended

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior experience in a Cath Lab Recovery or Cardiac Observation Unit
• Familiarity with post-procedural cardiac monitoring and hemodynamic assessment
• Experience with telemetry monitoring in a stepdown environment
