Vendor Relations Specialist

This role supports supplier management activities for an Enterprise team within Category Management. The position is responsible for helping manage third-party supplier relationships, supporting internal business partners, and contributing to cost, risk, process, and performance management efforts across assigned supplier engagements. The ideal candidate will be comfortable building relationships, coordinating across cross-functional teams, supporting supplier governance activities, and helping ensure third-party relationships are managed in alignment with internal policies and business requirements. Key Responsibilities Problem Solving and Business Support: Partner with internal customers to address supplier-related needs, identify process improvements, and support opportunities related to savings, efficiency, revenue growth, and operational effectiveness. Negotiation Support: Assist with contract-related activities and support negotiations for a range of supplier services, as needed. Supplier Relationship Management: Serve as a point of contact for assigned third-party suppliers and support effective governance between the organization and its supplier partners. Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work with internal risk, business, and operational teams to help ensure supplier relationships comply with applicable policies, procedures, and requirements. Risk Management: Monitor supplier performance and support delivery against contractual obligations and risk management expectations. Process Management: Maintain accountability for required supplier management activities, including periodic reviews, assessments, documentation, and policy-related deliverables for assigned third-party relationships.
