Subsurface Analyst (Immediate Hire)(Full-Time)

The SubsurfaceAnalyst willjoinahighlytrainedteamoffieldspecialistsresponsibleforidentifyinganddesignatingcriticalsubsurfaceutilitiesandstructuralembedswithinconcretestructures.Thisrolesupportssafeexcavationandconstructionactivitiesbyprovidingaccurate,non-destructiveinvestigationsofundergroundinfrastructure. Thispositionrequires90%travelacrossthestateandtootherstateswhenneeded.Mustbewillingandabletotravelawayfromhomeregularly,evenings/overnightsandweekendsincluded. DutiesandResponsibilities: Performinvestigativescanningactivitiesoncommercial,industrial,andinfrastructurejobsites. Collectandanalyzefielddatatodesignatestructuralembedsincludingrebar,conduits,post-tensioncables,andotherstructuralelements. Locateundergroundutilitiessuchassewer,water,communications,gas,andelectricallines. Travelasrequiredfortrainingandservicesupport. AccuratelymarkscannedareasinaccordancewithPenhall’sStandardMarkingProtocol. Completecomprehensivefielddocumentationincludingreports,sketches,andphotographicrecords. Partnerwithsitepersonneltoreviewandconfirmprojectscopepriortobeginningwork. Communicateclearlywithclientsregardingtechnologycapabilities,limitations,andrecommendedsolutions. Explaininvestigationresults,safetyconsiderations,andrecommendednextstepstocustomers. Conductpre-jobandpost-jobinspectionsofequipmentandreportanymalfunctions. Maintainaclean,safe,andorganizedworkenvironmentatalltimes. Attendrequiredsafetymeetings,jobbriefings,andtrainingsessions. Checkindailywithschedulingpersonnelorsupervisorstoconfirmassignments. Transportandproperlysecurealltoolsandequipmentnecessaryforfieldoperations. Assistwiththetraininganddevelopmentofnewanalystswhenrequired. Performadditionaldutiesasassignedbymanagement.
