Profession: PT Specialty: Physical Therapy - Outpatient Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 8H Days Hours per Shift: May vary between 0700 and 1730, typically 8-hour shifts Experience: 1 year of outpatient experience License: Required Certifications: BLS Certification, CPR Must-Have: EMR experience Description: Unit notes include a radius rule of 50 miles. Candidates may not have been full time, part time, or PRN with any facilities associated within the past year. The number of patients treated per day ranges from 8 to 10. Common diagnosis includes general orthopedics, neurology, BPPV, vestibular issues, and falls, with a large geriatric population. The setting is outpatient at a single location. Areas required to cover will be specified. Job duties include working in a team environment with PTA's and rehab techs. Shifts typically do not require weekend or holiday work. Scrub color required is burgundy, either as scrubs or a polo shirt with dark pants. Department-specific orientation is provided with a focus on environment, processes, and EMR. Charting is done using a specific system.
