About the Role

The Company is seeking a US Deputy Chief Information Security Officer (Deputy CISO) to join their dynamic team. The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting the MD & US CISO in the development and maintenance of robust technology risk-related controls and processes. This includes all non-financial risks such as cyber risk, availability, resiliency risks, and operational risk. The Deputy CISO will also be involved in assessing, evaluating, and remediating complex technology risks, as well as designing and implementing controls. The role requires a champion of a customer-focused culture, with a focus on deepening relationships with senior leadership, peers, and functional groups. The Deputy CISO will also be a key partner across senior executives, including the US CIO, Global CISO, and various risk, operations, compliance, and legal teams, to deliver improved US regulatory outcomes and strategies. Candidates for the Deputy CISO position should have a minimum of 10 years' experience in technology and non-financial risk management, with a strong background in areas such as internal controls, systems design, security, availability, disaster recovery, and third-party risk management. Expert leadership, communication, and influencing skills are essential, as is the ability to balance the goals of various departments and stakeholders. The role also requires a proven track record in risk or cyber security leadership, preferably with knowledge of the company's business and related systems and regulations. An advanced degree in a relevant field and additional certifications such as ITIL, COBIT, CRISC, or CISSP are considered assets. The Deputy CISO will be expected to lead a high-performance environment, champion a strong risk culture, and ensure compliance with information security policies and regulations.
