Dietitian-Sports Nutrition Education Coordinator

Bon Appetit is recruiting a Dietitian‑Sports Nutrition Education Coordinator in Tuscaloosa, AL. Location & Schedule Location: Bon Appetit at University of Alabama Athletics. Schedule: Full time, Monday–Friday, with occasional weekend, evening, or holiday shifts; possible light regional travel. Compensation Salary: $64,000 – $69,000 per year. $5,000 sign‑on bonus and relocation allowance. Job Summary The Senior Wellness Coordinator is responsible for nutrition and wellness initiatives to support the university athletics program. The role includes customized nutrition plans, education, compliance, and program evaluation. Key Responsibilities Coordinate and implement sector‑specific nutrition and wellness programs. Participate in account retention and sales efforts, including quarterly business reviews. Develop and present materials for wellness programs, such as health fairs, lunch & learns, and client meetings. Contribute to wellness‑related social media efforts. Manage menu and recipe development and conduct nutrient analysis. Lead on‑field implementation and ongoing training for the assigned account. Serve as a nutrition education resource for client and associate queries. Conduct regular audits, ensure accuracy of nutrition information, and monitor promotion results. Qualifications Registered Dietitian, credentialed by the Commission on Dietetic Registration. License by the State Dietetics Licensing Board in applicable states. Serve‑Safe certification preferred; otherwise, obtain within 12 weeks of hire. Familiarity with nutrition analysis software a plus. Experience in culinary and/or foodservice a plus.
