Job Description

Step into a fulfilling opportunity serving K-5 students as a Speech-Language Pathologist specializing in school-based pediatric care. This assignment runs from September 14th through December 18th, with a potential for an earlier start to allow time for preparation and orientation. Work with a manageable caseload of approximately 45 elementary students—all on one campus—and provide impactful, specialized support across 8-9 therapy sessions per day. Whether you excel in in-person or teletherapy environments, your expertise will be valued in this dynamic, student-centered setting.

Desired Qualifications:

  • Current SLP licensure (or eligibility) for the state of New Jersey
  • CCC-SLP credential or Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) candidates welcome
  • Experience in pediatrics, school-based SLP, or healthcare SLP strongly preferred
  • Comfortable delivering speech-language therapy via both traditional and teletherapy platforms
  • Commitment to evidence-based assessment, intervention, and progress monitoring
  • Exceptional organizational and communication skills to manage a diverse caseload

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Deliver individualized and group speech-language therapy to K-5 students
  • Administer formal and informal evaluations; interpret test results and document progress
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to maximize student outcomes
  • Develop and implement IEP goals, maintaining compliance with school guidelines and timelines
  • Utilize teletherapy tools as needed to provide flexible service delivery
  • Participate in staff meetings, IEP reviews, and professional development activities

This role offers a valuable chance to make a meaningful difference in students’ communication and academic success, all within a supportive school environment. Flexible therapy methods and close-knit campus assignment provide a positive, engaging workday.

If you’re ready to inspire growth in young learners and expand your professional skills in a collaborative educational setting, apply today to secure your spot for the upcoming school year!

Compensation for this position ranges from $47.13 to $67.13. Eligible candidates may also receive healthcare benefits, housing, and meals/incidentals. Full details of our healthcare benefits plan can be found here. This posting is open for 60 days after the posting date.
