Senior Consultant, Outsourced Accounting Services

What You Will Do Manage multiple projects with overlapping deadlines Review and maintain clients' general ledgers Process or review accounts payable, including involvement with Bill.com Review and approve journal entries Reconcile or review bank and credit card accounts Prepare or review depreciation schedules Assist with monthly and year‑end trial balance closings Support the preparation and review of monthly management reports and financial statements Review work of specialists and consultants Deliver virtual and on‑site outsourced accounting services Participate in software application implementation projects Facilitate training and development for associates and colleagues Provide coaching and technical guidance to associates Minimum Qualifications Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related business field 2+ years of relevant experience in public accounting and/or organizational accounting operations, including accounting system workflows, financial statement preparation, and supervision of accounting, payroll, and sales tax functions Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite Preferred Qualifications 3‑4 years of relevant experience in public accounting and/or organizational accounting operations, including accounting system workflows, financial statement preparation, and supervision of accounting, payroll, and sales tax functions QuickBooks ProAdvisor designation Prior experience with CaseWare, Fixed Assets CS, and Bill.com Experience working with QuickBooks, QuickBooks Online, Intacct, or similar general ledger software package Legal Notice Forvis Mazars, LLP is an equal opportunity/affirmative action employer in accordance with applicable law.
