This role involves applying fertilizers and other lawn care products to residential and commercial properties, diagnosing turf issues, and ensuring optimal lawn health and customer satisfaction. These technicians' days vary by service area and location and require flexible scheduling day by day. The ideal candidate is independent, confident, organized, efficient, understanding, and customer-oriented with good time management skills, strong communication ability, and a desire to help promote environmental health and safety.

Position responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Applying fertilizers, herbicides, insecticides, and other lawn care products according to label instructions and company protocols.
• Diagnose turf problems such as weeds, pests, and nutrient deficiencies.
• Operate and maintain application equipment including spreaders, sprayers, and vehicles.
• Provide detailed reports and communicate lawn care recommendations to customers.
• Establish effective working relationships with a variety of customers, both internal and external.
• Maintain accurate records of service completed through use of a SMART device.
• Respond to customer inquiries and provide excellent customer service.
• Conduct follow-up visits to solve problems and ensure resolution for the health of the lawn.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Ideal candidates will:

• Enjoy working outdoors year round
• Ability to safely operate a large, heavy lawn truck
• Knowledge of turf care products and application techniques a plus
• Be able to withstand long periods of standing and walking.
• Be able to lift/move up to 50lbs
• Strong problem solving skills and knowledge of turf related damages a plus.
• Have excellent listening and communication skills
• Be competent with the use of new technology.
• Be organized and able to manage their own daily route.

Required :

• Must be at least 21 years old
• Must have a valid Florida driver's license with minimal moving violation points
• HS Diploma or equivalent preferred

Preferred skills and qualifications:
Lawn maintenance experience, Experience Working Outdoors, Customer Service Experience, Excellent Listening and Communication Skills, Relationship Building and People Skills, Problem Solving skills, sales experience.
