Your future role at a glance Location: Boonville, IN Facility: Ascension St. Vincent Warrick Department/Speciality: Med Surg Swing Schedule: PRN | Rotating shifts, 12 hour shifts How you'll make an impact in this role Support the comprehensive assessment of patient health, working closely with RNs and physicians to ensure every patient feels safe, heard, and well‑cared for. Administer medications and treatments with precision, vigilantly monitoring patient responses to ensure the highest standards of safety and comfort. Perform essential clinical tests and therapeutic services that provide the data the medical team needs to make informed, life‑saving decisions. Empower patients and their families by providing clear, compassionate education on their treatment plans and discharge care, ensuring they have the tools to recover successfully at home. What minimum qualifications you'll need Licensure / Certification / Registration: BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted. Licensed Practical/Vocational Nurse credentialed from the Indiana Board of Nursing obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required. Education: High School diploma equivalency or 1 year of applicable cumulative job specific experience required. Note: Required professional licensure/certification can be used in lieu of education or experience, if applicable.
