Schedule: Days, 12 hours, 24 per week

Assignment Details:

• Contract Length: 13 weeks
• Guaranteed Hours: 24 per week

Requirements:

• Proficiency in hospital epidemiology principles
• Experience in infection prevention and control
• Knowledge of regulatory standards from TJC, OSHA, CMS, and CDC

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Perform surveillance, analysis, interpretation, and reporting of hospital acquired infections (HAI).
• Conduct infection prevention education and write/update related policies and procedures.
• Collaborate with Human Resources for employee health screenings and immunization updates.
• Maintain records pertaining to work injuries and illnesses and ensure proper reporting of cases.
• Ensure compliance with established infection prevention standards and regulations.
