The Tone: The TL;DR Role: Full Time Type: Full-time Location: In-person Mission: Own the successful daily operations and customer satisfaction of a CubeSmart self-storage facility through diligent customer service and property maintenance. Tech Stack: Point-of-Sale System (POS), database, MS Office products What You’ll Actually Do Customer Service: Develop customer relationships by identifying self-storage needs and providing appropriate solutions while delivering a standout customer experience. Sales & Leasing: Rent self-storage spaces, sell store merchandise, manage the leasing process, and meet monthly sales goals and metrics. Financial Management: Process payments utilizing the Point-of-Sale System, complete daily bank deposits, manage invoice review and approval responsibilities, and oversee the store’s expense budget. Property Oversight: Perform daily operational tasks including lock checks, showing units to customers, making courtesy calls regarding late payments, and managing the legal process of auctions. Facility Maintenance: Maintain the facility by cleaning units and grounds, performing tasks such as mopping, sweeping, changing light bulbs, and ensuring overall cleanliness and safety standards. The Must-Haves Background: Manager level in a role requiring both customer service excellence and property maintenance oversight. Experience: Proven experience delivering high-quality customer service to a diverse customer market and a self-driven mindset with a strong operational focus. Skills: Basic computer proficiency including MS Office products; physical ability to perform daily property maintenance tasks such as lifting up to 50 lbs., bending, kneeling, and climbing; ability to work Saturdays; and possession of a valid driver’s license with up-to-date insurance and access to a personal vehicle.
